Not only do we provide a forum for the exchange of information between our member units, but we also maintain an office in Albany so that we present a strong legislative presence in the State Capital Our legislative efforts are the strength of our organization. We pursue legislative items in Washington DC. to take a position on federal leg,slaton wh,ch impacts upon Our members and the people of the State of New York
On behalf of the many police officers which this organization proudly represents, I wish to thank you for your generous support and attention to our appeal. We file an annual report with the New York Department of State documenting our receipts and expenditures which is available for inspection by the public. No contributions to the New York State Association of P B A 's are deductible as charitable contributions We are always willing to answer any questions you might have concerning our organization and our fund-raising activities
